A Youth Group Like No Other!

MRBC Student Ministries is for teens in Grades 8-12. We meet together every 2nd and 4th Sunday morning for Youth Church and have special events throughout the week.

More than anything else, we desire to see teens following Jesus fully and helping other teens do the same!

Surrender to God

Teens (grades 8-12) meet in the youth room during the adult service, every 2nd and 4th Sunday. Here we connect with friends, play wacky games, worship, and are challenged to surrender our way to God’s way. Look for the signs in the lobby to lead you to the youth room!

Bring the Lost

We offer exciting events throughout the year to bring our friends to, in order for them to have an opportunity to meet Jesus. Come dressed in black for DQ Commandoes, Conquer your Fears, defeat the Gladiators, fight off sleep during the Midnight Feast…. You get the picture!

Connecting With Believers

Those who are honouring God with their lives recognize how important it is to connect with a small group of Christian teens for support, encouragement and FUN! Teens meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm—8:30pm(October—June) in the youth centre to worship and connect.

Grow In P.A.S.S.I.O.N.

(for God, not the hottie across the street!) We are developing Cross Training (youth versions of our adult CLASSES), as well as tools to help teens begin self-initiated disciplines. At present, teens can pick up a Quiet Time Journal at our Sunday morning services.

Release Teens In Ministry

We firmly believe that teens must be involved in ministry not just ministered to! So those teens who want to serve are given opportunities through our Core Team. Teens serve in drama, worship, planning, outreach in the city, and other areas in our church family.

How Do I Get Involved?

The best way to get involved is to get hold of our calendar. You can pick one up at the brochure section in the lobby, or check it out online.  All of our events are listed there.

Another great way to get connected is to call or email Pastor Rob and ask if you can get together with him. He loves hanging out with the teens of Maple Ridge and wants to help you get connected with our Student Ministries. You can give him a call at the church office during the week!

Wednesday Night Alive

Our youth room has its own ‘corner store’, big screen TV’s, numerous game cubes and a new Nintendo Wii and every Wednesday, teens from all over Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, gather here to worship God and connect with friends in small groups!
