Couples' Connection
The MRBC Couples’ Ministry Team is here to help you connect with your spouse and learn what God says about marriage! Our emphasis is to envision and equip couples to grow closer together by growing closer to God, and to get connected into an MRBC small group.
Several times a year, the Couples’ Ministry Team puts on a Couples’ Connection event. This is a
great night for you and your spouse to have a night off, meet new friends, and learn a little about marriage.
Women's Ministries
The purpose of our Women’s Ministry is to provide an opportunity for women to serve within various ministries of the church. It is a place to come for advice, support, prayer partners, and accountability. Our vision is to help women move toward salvation, discipleship, membership, development of their spiritual gifts, and their use of these gifts in the church and community to the glory of God.
Ladies Time Out
Ladies Time Out is a ministry to the women of our church and community. LTO meets every Tuesday morning from 9:00am to 11:00am during the school year and seeks to provide a place for women to build friendships. This is accomplished through weekly crafts, an optional Bible Study, quilting, and coffee time. A children’s program is provided for a small fee during LTO. Join the many women who have found this to be a great opportunity to meet other women in Maple Ridge.
Women’s Ministry Events
Women’s Ministry hosts many events throughout the year including a Christmas banquet, fundraiser dinners, and other special events. These events are consistently amazing and well-planned. The Women’s Ministry team of MRBC sees these events as opportunities for growth, encouragement, and, above all, including.
Women’s Retreat
MRBC hosts a women’s retreat that is the highlight of all Women’s Ministry events! Imagine a large group of women at a retreat centre for an entire weekend. Imagine great food, an inspiring speaker, and loads of fun! You don’t want to miss this weekend!
Men's Ministries
The Men’s Ministry is an umbrella organization overseeing all the ministries involving men in the church. This includes events such as retreats and conferences. We meet occasionally for breakfast on a Saturday from 8:00am to 10:00am. We also host special men’s ministry events.
Our men meet every other Friday evening for a small group and Bible study! Join us for in-depth study of the Scriptures, accountability, and great friendship! Call the church office for more information.
Seniors' Ministries
MRBC’s Seniors’ ministry seeks to reach individuals 50 years of age and up by providing an opportunity for fellowship and service, as well as for reaching out to other seniors with the gospel.
Seniors’ Luncheon
A monthly luncheon is held, usually on the fourth Friday of every month, at 12:00pm. A meal is provided, as well as a program including singing, fellowship, and a devotional time. Guest musicians and groups provide music. Guest speakers provide a devotional and an opportunity to hear about the Lord.
Single Adult Ministries (ages 25ish - 50ish)
Our Single Adult Ministry meets regularly Monday's from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. It's a great time to meet new friends, be enriched from a Bible Study and enjoy regular activities. SAM is presently made of singles aged 35 -55.For more information about the location of Monday's event or about the next event, you can call the church office.
Prayer
MRBC Prayer Ministry is here to serve you! You can participate by attending one of our Prayer Times, becoming a Prayer Partner, praying through the praise items and prayer requests listed in the weekend bulletin on your own. Give the church office a call to get connected.
